TLC Birth Support owner, Lauren Carrabs, knows that women are strong, every birth is sacred, and that the birth experience has a long lasting impact on the physical and mental health of mom, baby and family.

Lauren brings a calm and supportive presence to the birthing space by providing families with emotional support, relaxation techniques, hands-on comfort measures and fact-based information in order to achieve a safe, memorable and empowering birthing experience.

With a background in athletics and coaching, Lauren has the skills and stamina needed to focus on the needs of the birthing person during the physical and emotional ups and downs of labor.

In addition to birth support, Lauren also serves as a postpartum doula. She helps create a nurturing and supported transition into life with a new baby by offering emotional, physical and practical care during the postpartum period to the family unit.

Lauren is a mother of two, a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) achiever, a DONA trained and certified birth doula, a fitness and wellness advocate, a new parent and playgroup leader, and an American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certified responder.
